Su-33 almost buys it on Kuznetsov



Don't know when this was filmed, but it doesn't look good to my black shoe clad eye. Make sure you check out the tailhook.

    This was pure pilot error. One thing is if he doesn't get hocked up, but he should at least touch the runway

    Actually not pilot error, but a standard 'bolter' or touch and go. Before actually landing, pilots are obligated to make several approaches which are graded, all part of their carrier qualification.
